Hello!I recently took some data from online databases (primarily HeroesFire and HeroesNexus) regarding Heroes stats and growth. I compiled that data and made it easily sortable and added a tool for quick comparison between two heroes.Currently, it will be the most useful for you to download the file rather than to just view it using Google Viewer.Enjoy! What is this thing? It’s an Excel spreadsheet detailing each Hero’s individual stats and rates of stat growth. It is separated into multiple sheets. The “Full Stat Chart” sheet contains data for every hero for all of their character stats. Things like Health, Health Regen, Attack Speed, Attack Range, etc.

It also includes the increment by which those stats are increased as the hero levels up.The “Two Hero Comparison” sheet allows you to directly compare two heroes’ growths. By clicking the first hero slot (in cell B2), you can select a hero from a dropdown.

Doing so will automatically populate the rest of the data. You can then select a second hero in the second dropdown (cell B10). The stat comparison will display which of those two characters has an advantage in each stat at each level. In the case that the values are equal, it will simply display “Equal.”Why should I care about this? That’s a question you mostly have to answer for yourself, but it can have various uses.

In the Full Stat Chart sheet, you can sort to compare who has the highest base HP, or who has the highest base attack damage. Moreso than that, you can also sort to compare stats among classes (e.g. Which Support has the most health, which Warrior has the most damage, etc.).The Two Hero Comparison is where the sheet truly shines, in my opinion. For example, I like support heroes, and have been playing a lot of Tyrande and Brightwing. By doing a direct comparison there, I can get an analysis of when exactly in the game one of those characters gains numerical advantages over the other. In this case, Brightwing is stronger early on, whereas Tyrande’s growth edges her ahead later on. At level 5, Tyrande’s attack damage catches up to Brightwing’s.

At level 14, Tyrande’s health regeneration surpasses Brightwing’s, and at level 15, Tyrande’s health matches Brightwing’s. From there on, Tyrande’s stats are better.Does this mean Character X is better than Character Y?Not necessarily. The comparison only takes core stats into account and does not factor in talent selection, skills, abilities, traits, etc. It MOST DEFINITELY does not account for player skill. We are strictly comparing numbers. How accurate is this data?I’m not so foolish to say it’s 100% accurate, but I’m pretty confident that most of it is.

Virtually all of the data was pulled from HeroesFire and HeroesNexus, so I am placing my faith in their accuracy. I haven’t gone in game to check and see what Abathur’s attack speed actually is (HeroesFire and HeroesNexus had drastically differing values). I also haven’t fact-checked each individual stat against the game itself.Regarding the sheet itself, I haven't quite figured out how to put it someplace online where multiple users can edit it without those changes showing up to other users. That is, the comparison tool requires the user to select a hero from a dropdown menu in order to make a numerical comparison.

Google Sheets can't do that to my knowledge, without allowing the user to change anything else in the file (changes which would be permanent). Basically, I want a way to let users mess with the file all the want, but to never let those changes affect the base document! If you know how to do that, please comment/PM/email me, because I am dying to know.I found an error! / Something doesn’t work! / I have a question! Please comment on this thread or send me a PM or shoot me an email! I check Reddit and my email quite often and should be able to respond to you pretty quickly.
