Posted: 22 AprilWhat an amazing disappointment!I've bought the Unreal Deal Pack bundle a while ago when it was on heavy sale because of how much fun I've had with my brother playing the original Unreal Tournament. Now that we're all stuck in our houses and jobless waiting for our food supplies to run out, I've played all 5 games.Here's the verdict:Unreal Gold: great game!Unreal II: garbage game!Unreal Tournament GOTY: great game!Unreal Tournament 2004: unexpectedly even better than UT GOTY (very similar but has better input system and you can double jump after a dodge jump making you get to places much faster)Unreal Tournament 3: If there was a negative score I could give in the 'out of 10' system, this game would receive it.The gameplay in UT3 is nothing like what made UT 1 and 2 and Unreal Gold great. It feels more like a bad sci-fi milsim game and it is not what Unreal is about.The maps are boring and generic.The game modes (destroying cores) have become worse. Should've just kept the original ones.Weapons feel worse, almost all of them have been nerfed.Announcer is awfulNo way to remove head bobbingOverall this game is a huge dissappointment for people who loved the originals.I can conclude that Epic Games did indeed turn into garbage devs all the way back to right after 2004.
