As a martial artist, I really appreciate the hand to hand combat system and I can also understand why some don't. It's by far the most in depth of the genre. I also really love the more realistic approach to the carry of firearms and I really loved the gunplay as well. I saw some bashing against the karaoke bars, but that's the culture.

Sleeping Dogs does a great job at representing the culture & environment in a semi-subtle manner. The storyline is very well done and is one of only five games over the last 20 years that sucked me in emotionally. I have Sleeping Dogs at #4 in my top 5 of this genre. It's truly a great game. I just recently started playing it and I have to say that it's a great game. Even compared to today's games. It has a lot to do. You are an undercover cop in Tokyo so you get to work both sides of gangs and police.

It has a great story good graphics, tight controls and is am overall good game. The fighting and driving in it is really fun and I would suggest it to anyone that is a fan of GTA or Watchdogs. Especially if it's on sale.
